My history and background play vital roles in who I am and how I get things done. My personal and professional development blooms from an inspirational intersection of growing up in a family of entrepreneurs, pursuing a focused education, and managing strategic planning for high-level corporations and events—a multi-tiered foundation which has built a unique combination of skills, intuition, imagination and flexibility.
After earning a bachelor’s in Mass Communications & Electronic Media from North Carolina A&T State University, and my master’s in Strategic Public Relations from George Washington University, I spent 12 years in the sports and entertainment industry, with a focus on high-end marketing, promotions, social and corporate events.
